        Extensive Civil War period displays, a civil war cannon, a replication of Fort Bliar on the actual site, and driving tour showing consecutive events of the Baxter Springs Civil War Massacre. The Heritage Center features the various Native American tribes which resided in the area. Quapaw and Nez Perce artifacts are featured prominently with research material available.
